Benson W. Campbell, III Partner Ben, a Certified Public Accountant since 1968, is a member of AICPA, Kentucky Society of CPAs and Indiana CPA Society.  He is also active in several local organizations in the Henderson community.  Ben is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Accounting and received a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University.  He has been a partner in the firm since 1972. Ben has abundant knowledge and expertise in the areas of estates and trust.  He consults with several clients planning and implementing the best tax advantages to correspond with their retirement and financial needs.  Ben has worked extensively on estate, gift and trust tax returns, but he also spends a great deal of time consulting with clients concerning their individual, business and farming, plans and tax returns. Royster Partner Jud, our managing partner, received his degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1972 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1974. He has been a sole practitioner or partner in public accounting since 1975. He is a member of AICPA and Kentucky Society of CPAs.  He merged his practice with the firm and became a partner in 1986. Carver Partner Terry, a Certified Public Accountant since 1979, joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1995.  Terry is a graduate of Murray State University with a BS in accounting.  He is a member of the AICPA and Kentucky Society of CPAs and offers his services to several community and charitable organizations. Terry works closely with clients optimizing the benefits of tax planning on an individual and small business level.  His expertise is utilized in the preparation of individual and business tax returns, including the preparation of multi state corporate tax returns.  Terry's skills extend strongly to the construction industry where he deals specifically with their accounting and business needs.  As an auditor Terry has vast knowledge and experience in the areas of governmental and not for profit audits. McBride Partner David began his accounting career with a local Bowling Green, KY accounting firm while a Western Kentucky University student.  After graduating in 1971, he began a stint with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in their Raleigh, N.C. office, where he became a CPA in 1972.  Returning to Henderson in 1976, he spent two years as controller for a closely-held company.  In 1978, David opened his own office to practice public accountancy.  On January 1, 1998 he merged his practice and became a partner in Campbell, Royster, Carver, McBride & Co. LLP.  He is a member of the AICPA and the Kentucky Society of CPA's. David specializes in tax planning and return preparation for small businesses and individuals.  He has a variety of individual and business clients.  Areas of concentration include physicians and closely-held businesses.  He believes tax planning is essential to minimize an entity's final tax liability and to avoid surprises when the tax return is eventually completed.
